A few weeks back I had the pleasure of taking a few snaps while having lunch with a good friend and part owner of Vesta Blackheath, David Harris. The philosophy of Vesta is a simple one, use the best local and regional produce to create slow cooked heart warming food that savours the atmosphere. The interior does not fall short in complementing this notion. The 120year old scotch oven creates an inviting dewy mist that lingers on the front window, take a step further and you’re greeted with a courtyard that displays the true character of a Blackheath autumn. This is should be on everyone’s list if visiting the Blue Mountains.
